Young Professionals

GSULYP makes access to young professionals in Sacramento easy. Your company or ogranization can benefit from partnering with the GSULYP by sponsoring any of our events throughout the year, providing information at our general body meetings scheduled once a month, recruiting professionals for job placement, or advertising to our vast network of young corporate, government, and community leaders in the region.

YP Events:
Our events include voter registration drives, membership mix and mingles, GSULYP participation at the annual Influencer Summit, Relationship Forum, etc.  A complete list of our recurring events can be found on the Calendar/Events page of this website.

General Body Meetings:
Each month, the Young Professionals meet to network, discuss upcoming events, and dialogue about current issues affecting the greater community.  Invited guest speakers discuss opportunities for involvement in the surrounding community, moderate discussions, or educate the general body about opportunities for advancement. 

YP Movement:
The movement extends far beyond the events we host each year and is rooted in our five point empowerment agenda.  We incorporate these points into the planning of our events, the location of our events, and the target audience for our events.  We may be comprised of young professionals between the ages of 21- 40, but our goal is to positively  impact the lives of individuals of any age.
