Leadership Team
The Greater Sacramento Urban League Young Professionals is governed by a Leadership Council, comprised of a five-member Executive Committee including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Parliamentarian. This Executive Committee is responsible for managing the direction of the organization and routinely appoints committee chairs to lead each of the standing committees. Committee chairs are responsible for holding regular committee meetings, conveying information to the general body, setting committee budgets, and assist in guiding GSULYP towards our empowerment agenda and organizational goals.

Leadership Opportunities
Many of our GSULYP members are upwardly mobile and on their way to achieving great success. As a result, we often find the need to fill leadership positions which have become vacant due to members moving on to different roles. Check back here for vacant positions as they are posted on a case by case basis.
In order to qualify for a leadership position, you must be a YP member in good standing. For more information about these available roles, please email President Theolene at president@joinyp.org.
