Join Week is a great opportunity for members and non-members to get to know the Greater Sacramento Urban League Young Professionals learn more about our impact on the Sacramento community and how you can become apart of it.
GSULYP offers young professionals of colors the opportunity for personal and professional growth through civic engagement activities, professional development workshops, and volunteer opportunities. We hope you'll join us for this year's events.

We’re starting the week strong with YP Fit: Trap Edition. Come get fit with us and learn some new moves from our personal trainer at Elite Fitness and Performance. This edition of YP Fit will be a boot camp style class featuring your favorite trap songs. The one hour class is for all fitness levels and will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.

PIZZA & POLITICS: THE BLACK STUDENT SUSPENDED

In June of 2018, researchers from San Diego State and UCLA released a study showing that Elk Grove Unified, Twin Rivers, San Juan and Sacramento City school districts suspended the highest proportion of black male students in the state with the highest proportion in Sacramento elementary schools. Further, the study showed that Sacramento City Unified suspended the most black male students out of all the school districts in the state.
Join us in a discussion regarding the dire implications of
these statistics on our children as well as what efforts are and
